چکیده

In this study; a four-stroke, air-cooled, spark-ignition engine was used. It’s aimed to improve the performance and emissions by renewing existing ignition fuel system of in way that can be controlled via computer. Classical modified with an electronic computer-controlled established using injector instead carburetor. Gasoline bioethanol fuels were compared original updated version conducting various experiments. these experiments, power torque, specific consumption, thermal efficiency, exhaust combustion analysis results examined. When obtained are evaluated; use electronically torque power, increase 11.58% maximum from gasoline 14.4% average observed standard system. Specific consumption decreased 18.32% for 26.95% at full load. At load, efficiency 22.43% gasoline, 36.9% bioeth-anol in-cylinder max. pressure 4% 8% in-crease bioethanol. emission values, CO value 6.2% 20% HC 3.8% 7.5% CO2, NOx O2 values increased 4.1%, 14.9%, 0.7% 0.7%, 5.6%, 0.4%

effect of bioethanol-gasoline fuel blends on an si engine exhaust emissions

in this paper, the effect of bioethanol- gasoline fuel blends on exhaust emissions of a four-cylinder spark ignition (si) engine was investigated experimentally. pure gasoline fuel was blended with various percentages of bioethanol (0, 20, 40, 60 and 85%), and the hc, co, co2 and nox exhaust emissions were measured at different engine speeds and two throttle valve positions (full throttle and 5...

An Experimental Investigation of Spark Ignition Engine Fueled with Ethanol/Iso-octane and Methanol/Iso-octane Fuel Blends

Alcohols have been used as a fuel for engines since 19th century. Among the various alcohols, ethanol and methanol are known as the most suited renewable, bio-based and ecofriendly fuel for spark-ignition (SI) engines. The most attractive properties of ethanol and methanol as an SI engine fuel are that it can be produced from renewable energy sources such as sugar, cane, cassava, many types ...
